Screen Printing

Screen printing is a method where ink is pressed through a mesh screen onto a surface, like fabric or paper, to create a design. A stencil blocks parts of the screen so only the desired image gets printed.

Screen Printing

DTF (Direct-to-Film) printing is a method where designs are printed onto a special film, then transferred onto fabric using heat and pressure. It's great for vibrant, detailed prints and works on a variety of fabrics.

Hat patches heat pressed on are patches (usually made of embroidery, leather, PVC, or fabric) that are attached to hats using a heat press machine. Heat and pressure activate a special adhesive on the back of the patch, bonding it securely to the hat. It's a clean, durable method for customizing hats with logos or designs.

Please reach us at info@888apparel.ca if you did not find an answer to your question.

Screen printing is a technique used to print designs on number of surfaces, like fabric or paper. Here’s how it works:

1. Prep: A mesh screen is coated with a light-sensitive emulsion. The design is placed on top, and the screen is exposed to light, hardening the emulsion except where the design blocks it.

2. Washing: The screen is washed with water, removing the unexposed emulsion and leaving a stencil of the design.

3. Printing: Ink is spread over the screen. A squeegee is used to press the ink through the stencil onto the material below.

4. Drying: The printed material is dried, and the process can be repeated for different colors or layers.

It’s a popular method for making T-shirts, posters, and other items because it produces vibrant colors and can be used on various surfaces.

Screen printing is often considered better because it produces vibrant colors, is durable, and allows for high-quality prints on various materials. It’s also cost-effective for large batches, making it ideal for items like T-shirts and posters.

Majority of the time the answer is yes. Many screen printers require the customer to supply their own artwork.
